MYTHS AND LEGENDS
For me, a myth is a story which is pure fabrication. A legend , on the other hand is a mixture of fact and fiction. As I read or hear the ancient tales of Ireland, I sometimes wonder if perhaps we might have dismissed elements of truth in the legends and have idly tossed them into the realms of fantasy?
In this section I have collected stories about the hag. Many of the stories mention places which I notice are on the Labbacallee lines. I find these folklore coincidences quite extraordinary. Do you have an explanation for these strange coincidences?
